ROLE DESCRIPTION

Newcastle College is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified individual to join our team as a Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Coach (Improvement and Enhancement).

This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-quality professional development, training, and coaching for teaching staff and curriculum colleagues at Newcastle College.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of supporting colleagues to develop. The successful candidate will have a history of excellent teaching or training and the communication skills to share this expertise with others.

Key requirements include:

• A strong ability to research and implement innovative ideas and strategies to improve your own practice and support the development of others.
• Effective time management skills to self-manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, alongside strong IT proficiency.

You will be joining a motivated, collaborative, and successful and cohesive team.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who can build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. You will work closely with teachers, line managers, and the Head of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (Improvement and Enhancement) to deliver targeted development for teachers and student-facing staff. Your work will focus on creating a professional learning experience that positively impacts the student experience and their progression.
